Jersey Fresh Peaches on the Airwaves & Social Media
Glassboro, NJ (July 25, 2017) – Jersey-grown peaches are taking to the air this summer, with ad spots on radio and Facebook, and focusing on nutrition and flavor. The New Jersey Peach Promotion Council is airing spots on 11 radio stations covering most of New Jersey: WKXW (101.5), WFPG; WSJO, WJLK, WOBM AM, WOBM FM, WPUR, WCHR, WENJ, WADB, WDHA, and WMGQ
“Advertising via these media is a new experiment for us. We’re hoping to reach a wide consumer market with the message ‘buy local, buy Jersey peaches’,” says Santo John Maccherone, chair, New Jersey Peach Promotion Council and a major south Jersey grower. “All our growers are bursting with some of the best peach crops in years.”, he added.
On Facebook, spots in the newsfeed section are visible in the counties of Essex, Bergen, Hudson, Camden Morris, Bucks County, PA. All spots have links to www.jerseypeaches.com, the New Jersey Peach Promotion Council website. From the newsfeed page, clicks onto newjerseypeaches goes to the Jersey Peaches page, where weekly events are posted along with grower offerings and public comments.
